Come and meet the staff at our school.

Headteacher - Mrs Adelaide Morris

 

Mrs Morris became the Headteacher at Captain Shaw's in September 2017.

She also teaches in Class 2.

Teachers

Mrs Elaine Miller

Mrs Miller is the teacher in Class 1.  

She has been working at Captain Shaw's since September 2012.

 

Miss Gemma Hall

Miss Hall teaches in Class 1 and Class 2.

She has been working at Captain Shaw's since September 2018

 

Academic Support Staff

 

Miss Helen Beaumont

Miss Beaumont works in Class 1 and works closely with our Reception Children.  She also runs our Breakfast Club and she is our Lunchtime Supervisor.

She has been working at Captain Shaws since September 2012.

 

Miss Yvonne Wrigley 

Miss Wrigley is our Nursery Leader.  She has been working in our newly opened Governor Led Nursery unit since September 2017.

 

Miss Christina Papantoniou

Miss Papantoniou supports Miss Wrigley in the Nursery.  She has been working with us since January 2017.

 

 

Support Staff

 

Mrs Debbie Tyson

Mrs Tyson is our School Administrator.  She has been working at Captain Shaw's since January 2010.  She is also our Clerk to Governors.

 

Mrs Ann Clarke

Mrs Clarke is our cleaner and helps out at lunchtimes.  She also looks after the building making sure that the community hall is clean and tidy for community groups.  She has been working at Captain Shaw's since 1988!

 

Community Lunch Staff

 

Fran Barnes

Fran works in the kitchen Tuesday to Thursdays serving up hot lunches.

 

Kath Steward

Kath began working with Captain Shaw's pupils in September 2018 and cooks our fabulous Friday lunch.

 

Emma Miles

Emma assists Kath and our pupils in the kitchen on a Friday.

 

Music Staff

We have a peripatetic music teacher:

Mrs Catherine Clarke who teaches brass and recorder to pupils in KS2.  She also teaches music to R and KS1.
