    Dear Parents and Carers,

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a vibrant, caring, and ambitious school community—one where children are inspired to learn, supported to succeed, and encouraged to grow into confident, compassionate young people. Much of what makes our school so special comes from the strong partnership between families, staff, and the wider community. Today, we are inviting you to play an even more active role in shaping our school’s future by applying to become a Parent Governor.

Parent Governors are vital members of our Governing Body. They bring the unique insight of parents, ensuring that decision-making truly reflects the needs, hopes, and lived experiences of our families. You don’t need specialist expertise or qualifications—just a commitment to helping our school be the very best it can be.

As a Parent Governor, you will:

    • Contribute to strategic discussions that shape the school’s direction and priorities
    • Offer a parent’s perspective on key decisions
    • Support and challenge the school’s leadership to secure the highest standards for all pupils.
    • Help ensure our values, ethos, and aspirations remain at the heart of everything we do.

Many parents find the role highly rewarding. It’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, develop new skills, and work alongside a dedicated team of people who care deeply about our school.

If you believe in our school’s mission and want to help drive its continued success, we warmly encourage you to apply. Your voice matters—and your involvement could help enrich the experience of every child who walks through our doors.

Information on how to apply:  Please see the attached letter below.

If you have any questions or would like an informal conversation about what the role involves, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for considering this valuable opportunity. Together, we can continue to make our school an exceptional place to learn, grow, and thrive.
