At Captain Shaw's C of E Primary School, we are a welcoming and inclusive community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

As a Church of England school, our Christian foundation shapes our ethos and culture, while recognising and celebrating the diversity of beliefs, backgrounds and experiences within our school community. Our Christian and school values provide a shared framework that brings us together, helping every child to develop the knowledge, skills, character and confidence to thrive.

Through an ambitious curriculum, meaningful experiences and strong partnerships with families and the wider community, we nurture children's academic, personal, social, emotional and spiritual development. We want every child to leave Captain Shaw's equipped with the knowledge, character and confidence to flourish throughout their lives.
